Join Master of Wine Meg Brodtmann and 2-hatted Chef Tyson Bertoncello to take your food pairing to the next level.
After sparkling on arrival, you’ll kick off the session with a tasting by Meg, renowned as one of Australia’s top wine judges and all-round legend. Once you’re a pro at tasting wine, you’ll start exploring different ingredients, aided by Tyson of I Like Too Much, who earnt his hatted status as chef at O.MY.
As a group, you’ll decide your favourite components which pair to Rob Dolan White Label Pinot Noir. Now for the fun part: you’re going to “Mystery Box” Tyson! That’s right – the king of the kitchen will take your pairings to create the perfect match for the wine right in front of your eyes!
After enjoying the custom-made creation as your entrée, you’ll see what the pros have put together as the perfect pairing as your main. Meg and Tyson will join you at the table to enjoy the meal they reverse-engineered as perfect partner for Rob Dolan Cabernet Sauvignon.
And the fun won’t finish there, to top you off, you’ll enjoy a selection of house-made Stone + Crow cheese with the Rob Dolan Two Barrel Batch Muscat.
The sessions are held in the Rob Dolan Wines barrel room, and will be limited to maximum 18 people per event to ensure an intimate experience with our experts.
You’ll leave knowing more than simply how to pair food and wine; you’ll be able to use ingredients to transform what’s in your glass and choose a wine that can take your meal to the next level.
Welcome wine – Sparkling Blanc de Blanc
Tasting – White Label Chardonnay and Pinot Noir with Meg Brodtmann MW
Entrée – Demonstration of handmade ravioli using ingredients best paired with White Label Pinot Noir
Main – The perfect pairing for our White Label Cabernet Sauvignon: 6hr slow-braised beef cheek, silky truffle mash with seasonal earthy vegetables
Dessert – A selection of boutique cheese house-made by Stone + Crow served with Two Barrel Batch Muscat
Due to our convenient location less than 30 minutes from the CBD, we recommend taxi or Uber. If you chose to drive, spittoons will be made available. Please clarify any dietary requirements in the ticket notes.
