The 2024 vintage was a cool year with excellent production in terms of quality and quantity. Chardonnay and Pinot Nair were fantastic displaying classic fruit characters and crisp acidity. The later ripening varieties, Cabernet sauvignon and Shiraz, also fared well. Wines from 2024 will be ones for the cellar, if you can hold on to them long enough.

Find a hammock, put on your favourite podcast or tunes, pour a glass and breath out. Make sure you have a handful of snacks nearby.

Wine Notes

Colour: a touch of blush naturally derived from Pinot Gris skins
Aroma: nashi pear, white peach, apple
Palate: cantaloupe, nectarine, oily texture
Cellar: 0 to 8 years

Winemaking

Process: 12 hours on skins post crushing to allow juice to pick up natural colour from the skins
Fermentation: 20% in barrel on light solids, 80% fermented in stainless steel at low temperatures
Oak: 30% new French oak, 9 months
Alcohol: 13.2%
