2020 White Label Pinot Gris

What started as a mishap has become our signature style. Years ago, our Pinot Gris spent some unplanned time on skins, resulting in a beautiful colour, and a richer texture. We still follow this technique (with a little more precision!) today, making our iconic blush Pinot Gris. A sure favourite, this wine suits all palates and is great with or without food.

Enjoy with white meats and seafood, particularly in meals that include a fruit element such as citrus, peaches or apricots.

Wine Notes

Colour: pale salmon tinge naturally derived from Pinot Gris skins
Aroma: red and yellow apple, nashi pear, orange blossom
Palate: lemon and orange citrus, red apple, white florals 
Cellar: up to 3 years
Nutrition: 90 calories per 120ml glass, gluten free, <1 gram of sugar per bottle
Occasion: perfect for catchups with friends. Serve with Korean fried chicken

Vineyard: Murrumong Vineyard, Coldstream + Killara Estate, Seville
Harvest: 10th and 12th March 2020
Method: machine harvested


Process: 12 hours on skins post crushing to allow juice to pick up natural colour from the skins
Fermentation: 20% in barrel on light solids, 80% fermented in stainless steel at low temperatures
Alcohol: 13.5%
