What started as a mishap has become our signature style. Years ago, our Pinot Gris spent some unplanned time on skins,
resulting in a beautiful colour, and a richer texture. We still follow this technique (with a little more precision!) today, making our iconic blush Pinot Gris. A sure favourite, this wine suits all palates and is great with or without food.

Enjoy with white meats and seafood, particularly in meals that include a fruit element such as citrus, peaches or apricots.

Colour:pale salmon tinge naturally derived from Pinot Gris skins

Aroma:pear, peach + nectarine

Palate:textural, melon, crisp + fresh

Region:Yarra Valley

Vineyard:Murrumong Vineyard, Coldstream + Killara Estate, Seville

Harvest:23rd February + 1st March 2019

Method:picked on acidity levels, machine harvested


Process:12 hours on skins post crushing to allow juice to pick up natural colour from the skins

Fermentation:20% in barrel on light solids, 80% fermented at 15 degrees Celsius in stainless steel
