2019 Black Label Chardonnay

A rich chardonnay specially made for food pairing. Lots of flavour, a strong acid line and a creamy texture are the keys to a great food-pairing chardonnay… which is exactly what we’ve done. Expect mandarin, yellow peach, melon and brioche flavours.

Long Sunday lunch. Start with some seafood or smoked salmon.

Colour: lemon with green tinge
Aroma: peach, unripe mango, lemon meringue pie
Palate: mandarin, yellow peach, melon, brioche
Cellar: 0 to 8 years


Region: Yarra Valley
Vineyard: Yarraland + Willowlake
Harvest: 3rd and 7th March 2019
Method: hand picked


Process: whole bunch pressed, high juice solids to oak for ferment
Fermentation: fermented and matured in French hogshead for 10 months
Alcohol: 13.7%
