Wine Notes

Colour:mid red, hints of crimson

Aroma:fresh strawberry, wild fruits + dark cherry

Palate:savoury oak, red fruits, spice, subtle juicy tannins

Cellar:medium term - up to 10 years


Region:Yarra Valley

Vineyard:Willowlake Vineyard, Gladysdale + Mandala Vineyard, Yarra Junction

Harvest:3rd March + 5th March 2018

Method:hand picked


Process:destemmed, whole berry, 2-5 tonne ferment, cold soak x 4 days

Fermentation:initial wild ferment, then inoculated with specific yeast + plunged twice daily, pressed off dryness

Barrel:10 months in French oak, 30% new + balance seasoned
