2014 Black Label Four + One

black olive | truffle | dark cherry | silky tannins

“Vintage 2014 was the most challenging in my 25 years in the Yarra Valley. The cool weather during flowering in Spring resulted in poor fruit set, therefore producing lower than expected yields from most vineyards across the Yarra Valley, some down by up to 60%. The resultant wines, however, support the popular belief that smaller yields produce exceptional wines. The ripening period was long and steady, ideal for acid retention and full flavour development.” Rob Dolan – Winemaker
